Family Reunion - August 5-7, 2011

We've spent the weekend at a Family Reunion.  I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!  I grew up with all of these cousins and we spent a lot of time together.  We also spent most summers camping together at Bear Gulch.  So it was only appropriate that we started out the reunion at our favorite camp ground.

I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few of my favorites from the quick campout:

What's camping without one happy little dirt covered baby?

My twin brothers helping their boys out ;)
And who needs an outhouse???

She was very content to just dig in the dirt.

Taking a break after a quick hike to the cross.

Aunt Manon trying to get cell phone service...HA!

The only bummer to the whole weekend was when my little sister (who's 19 weeks pregnant) wrecked a four-wheeler within the first hour of the campout.  She was rushed to the emergency room several miles away.  Fortunately both mom and baby were fine but she and her husband missed out on the rest of the fun.  She's still very sore and it's obvious her face took the brunt of the crash (poor girl!).  We're so glad they are both ok!
Saturday afternoon we loaded up and moved the party to the good ol NAT SOO PAH.  Another favorite family spot (and the pool I used to lifeguard at).  Sunday we attended church with my Grandma and ended the reunion with a potluck dinner at my aunts.  It was a weekend full of good food (because it wouldn't be an Andreason function without lots of food), good company, and good memories.  My Grandma was in heaven!!! Like I said, I LOVE MY FAMILY!

And because Aunt Lynda went to the effort to have shirts made for everyone, we even got a few pictures...

Grandma with most of her GREAT grandchildren

Grandma with her grandchildren (we are missing a few)

Grandma with her children (my cousin Rob is sitting in for his dad, Steven, who passed away several years ago).

And MOST of the whole family!
(There were a few missing who live to far away to travel.  My dad and brother also missed out since there was a fire they had to go help with, Greg had gone home to take care of cows by this point, and of course my sister was home recovering.)

  1. Hooray for an Andreason reunion! It looks like it was one great time. I can only imagine how good the food was. It's fun to see how everyone has grown up and try to pick them out. What a great family you belong to Gwen.

So glad Carrie is okay. Tell her congratulations on the baby. That's very exciting. And that is a classic picture of Lance and Jared.
