I'm not sure what has happened to winter. We've been waiting and waiting for it to come, but nothing. It's seems more like a wet spring than winter. I like seasons and enjoy each one of them (probably because they don't last all year) so the lack of snow is sad and not necessarily a good thing for our area...
This picture was taken the first part of January from our front step. It feels like January, but looks more like March or early April.
We did get a little snow a couple weeks ago. It melted quickly, but the kids did their best to get a small snowman out of it. They even had to shovel snow from the driveway to finish it since the snow was melting so fast,

I never did get a picture of the finished product. Dallin and I ditched the rest of the crew and watched from the warm house while they completed it. Hopefully we will get some more snow soon...maybe even enough for a whole snow family!
