The week after we got back from Orlando, we had the United Dairymen of Idaho's state meetings in Boise. This time we took Lydia and Wyatt with us. While Greg was in meetings, the kids and I spent some time exploring. One of our stops was the Idaho State Penitentiary. Wyatt and I enjoyed it and Wyatt was fascinated with all the details and facts that he learned there. Lydia thought it was boring.
Is it just me, or is anyone else tempted to have a room like this in their house?...mostly just for a good threat, but still...
Gwen, I remember going there with you (I think) when you were in 4th grade. I have to say I'm with Lydia. I thought it was kind of "creepy" and from the pictures I don't think it's changed much... Not surprised Wyatt got a kick out of it. He cracks me up.

I remember going there in fourth grade as well, and I'm pretty sure I was a little freaked out as well...maybe if prison was still like that there would be fewer criminals! It's neat you are making sure your kids get to experience our history!
