Tonight Wyatt asked me the following question:
"When are you going to grow up and get a real job?"
I kindly reminded him that being a mom/homemaker IS A REAL JOB!
Greg quickly jumped to my defense and explained to him that dad's job is working at the dairy and mom's job is working at the house.
And because she felt further explaination was needed, Lydia piped up with:
"Yeah, that's why mom has to exercise all the time, cause she doesn't work hard outside."
It's definitely interesting to see what my kids REALLY think of me.

ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh. On one hand it makes me excited for Levin to talk... on the other hand, I'm not sure my sensitive nature can take it. I actually was cleaning up my email inbox today and saw an email from you when we were discussing treadmill workouts. I laughed outloud when reading them because you mentioned that a kid has thrown a ball or two at you while running on it. I enjoyed the visual. Thanks for giving me two laughs in one day.
