No clue!
It must be because all of his cousins and friends wear their hair spiked to church and we are supposed to dress "fancy" for church.
For the record...church is the one place he can't wear his hair "fancy"....cause I'm mean like that...and obviously a little old school. (and he doesn't fight me on it...yet)
