This morning we were having our usual family scripture study time before school. We are currently reading in Mosiah in the Book of Mormon and Greg was reading Mosiah 21:3. Now, I should point out that Amy and Dallin are pretty much MIA during scripture time...their attention spans last about 2.3 seconds and then they spend the rest of the time running around and causing distractions for the rest of us. Not this morning though. When Greg read that scripture, Amy's little ears perked up and she blurted out as loud and clear as could be, "DUMB ASS?!"
I'm always amazed at what kids DO hear, even when you think they aren't listening.
That comment just made my day. I got a good laugh.
