Guess what she finally did...

She is so very excited about her pierced ears. She was told that once she turned 8, she could get them pierced, but she didn't have any desire to have them pierced then. A couple weeks ago she randomly asked if she could get them pierced because "she just wanted to get it over with!" ;) There was quite a bit of drama before hand, but once she had access to a mirror, she became a whole new woman! For the first few days of school afterwards, she wanted to make sure I pulled her hair back so that everyone could see them. I've been very impressed with how responsible she has been in taking care of them.
With or without earrings, this little girl of mine is growing up way too fast!
